Having warning signs located in the local community and not centrally means that in severe weather local volunteers could place warning signs before an incident occurs.
Initsys has been tasked with producing a CTA that will call local volunteers to place warning signs before a downed tree once it is safe to do so (the storm has passed). This ensures that a warning is made before the hazard escalate and before central highway teams can mobilise to the location.
